In this phase, I focused on handlebar. Electric part should have to wait until warranty period run out, but... I did not have enough patience to wait :D And with full awarness of loosing warranty, I took a knife to one hand, soldering gun to the other and... Let's start :D

Modification list:
  • Highway Hawk ape hanger handlebar.
I wanted to have handlebar made of stainless steel, but the guy that was to made it, backed out.
  • Wiring in handlebar.
Just do not ask about amount of work to do it right and about unforeseen troubles. Again, Suzuki didn't show off...
  • Inox cover for handlebar cables.
My own idea, look at "Do it yourself" section.
  • Brake and clutch steel lines (HEL).
  • Highway Hawk barrell risers.
I do not recomend it for high handlebar without modifications. Risers are made of aluminium, and handlebar holder is so wide that it has to be tightened far beyond alu M6 thread strength. I suggest using helicoils before assembling.
  • Kuryakyn iso grips.
  • Highway Hawk stainless steel throttle cable.
Warning - steel pad for throttle roller housing does not fit S83! I used original pad.
  • Highway Hawk tech glide passenger pegs.
  • Chrome lower handlebar cushions.
Original lower cushions are zinc plated...
Temporary I had to remove toolbox. In the future it'll be probably to the left of battery container.
